Arantza Acha de la Presa

She has a degree in Biology from the University of the Basque Country and a Master’s degree in Conservation and Rural Development from the University of Kent (United Kingdom). She has worked for 7 years with the Environmental Sciences Unit of the UNESCO Office in Indonesia, two years as a beneficiary of the UNESCO Etxea and Basque Government scholarship program and later as a consultant. His work focused on promoting sustainable development in Indonesia, East Timor, the Philippines and Vietnam. Since 2014, Arantza has been the director of UNESCO Etxea, the UNESCO Center of the Basque Country, an association committed to the principles of the United Nations and UNESCO that works so that Basque society assumes the values ​​of human rights as its own, as part of the global challenge of sustainable development of people.
